Anger is a very common human emotion and at some time or another we all experience it. From young children to old people we all feel anger at various times and for various reasons. There is nothing wrong with this, it is only when you lose control of your feelings and begin to rant and rave unnecessarily about something very trivial that it is seen as a problem. Because it is a natural emotion you do not have to strive to get rid of it completely you only have to control it getting out of hand.
If you know that the lack of self confidence is your main problem. Do something about it. There are numerous books written about this subject and there is much to be learned from them. Check your local churches or clubs and find out if there are any lectures currently running on the subject of self confidence and self esteem. It is well worth the effort to regain your self confidence.
Make yourself do things that might freak you out. Talking to strangers might scare you. If this is the case make a point of approaching one stranger per day and starting a conversation. Maybe this could be at the bus stop or in the Coffee shop. This is a huge confidence booster.
Make it your priority to improve your self image. This will be an enormous help to you in your management of anger. You will find that when you are in a situation where you would normally get angry and rant and rave you will have the self confidence to put your case forward without displaying anger to cover up your emotions. This will give you a better image of yourself and help you to feel good about your self. Remember others think of you what you think of your self.
A good idea is to think about what makes you angry while you are in a good mood. It does not help asking the question once your anger has been aroused. What situation is it that can make you lose your temper in an instant? It is usually not even very big issues that can make you do this. It is usually just the fact that things are not going your way. By avoiding these issues you can control your anger.
Make a list of things that aggravate you and lead to you getting angry. Discuss your list with your family and they will give you their support in helping you any way they can. They will be so pleased that you are trying to be different that you can be sure that they will do everything they can to make you happy.
1.It’s an article I found on the website. It’s an article that talks about anger. In the article, the writer tries to tell us that anger is a very nature emotion. Everyone can be angry and being angry is not something we have to be shame of. And the writer also tells us how to handle the anger we have or how to control it. It’s a very interesting and useful article. Especially to the moderate people nowadays.
2.new words: 1 rant 2 .rave 3 . rant and rave 4. aggravate
useful words: 1 various 2. unnecessarily 3. lectures 4. lectures 5. freak 6. constantly 7. colleague 8. threaten
3.To tell the truth, I am a person who gets angry very easy, but almost everyone consider I am a positive girl who never gets angry. That because I seldom show my anger. I don’t think it’s necessary to be angry and ruin the happy atmosphere and make everyone embarrassed. Maybe it’s one of my weak points. Because when I really get angry, no one knows. After reading this article, It gives me a good reason to show my anger in that very moment. It’s nothing to be ashamed of or afraid of. I am a human too. As long as I control it correctly, then I can show my true feeling.
It could be a colleague that constantly disagrees with you over some issue at the office and you will instantly lose your temper. There are many reasons for people to lose their tempers in everyday life that is why it is so important to learn to manage it. There is nothing wrong with getting angry about something if your anger is controlled. Saying what you think is necessary but never raising your voice in anger or become threatening to the person you have directed your anger at is what you are striving to do.

Recycling involves more than just separating one type of garbage from another. The most challenging part of the process is fiuring out how the various waste materials found in the piles of stuff we throw away everyday can be turned back into something useful. Metals, like the aluminum found in soft drink cans are no problem at all. Once the metal is melted down, it is as good as new again, ready for any use. Paper is a somewhat more complex problem because of the inks and other chemicals that are othen a part of it. But that can also be dealt with relatively easily.Plastics are the biggest recycling headache of them all. Plastics are persistent materials, which is to say that unlike paper, metal or wood, if plastics are discarded carelessly they will remain in the environment effectively forever. They don't rust or rot away. Given the amount of plastic we use for making everything from bags to computers, this creates a problem so big that it might soon bury us. Even so-called biodegradable plastics only break down when exposed to sunlight, not when they are covered over in huge piles or buried underground. Fortunately, new technology is coming to the rescue. It is now possible to turn old plastic into new products, and companies that want to make use of this suddenly valuable resource are springing up everywhere.

Our earth is sick, and it’s our responsibility to protect the earth.

In the hills above Los Angeles, you can see an image that is familiar to millions: tall, white letters spelling "HOLLYWOOD." It is a famous symbol of the world''s movie capital. However, Hollywood wasn''t always so well known. In 1853, only a single mud hut stood there. Two decades later, the area just west of Los Angeles was a farming community. It wasn''t until the early 1900s that the film industry arrived and changed Hollywood forever.
In film''s early days, most movies were made in New Jersey on the US east coast. However, bad weather and limited sunlight made making movies there difficult. Added to this was the fact that Thomas Edison had patents in the east on most filmmaking technology, and getting permission to use it was expensive. In the west, however, these patents were rarely obeyed. In 1910, director D.W. Griffith arrived in Los Angeles to film the short movie In Old California. He loved filming there and quickly spread the word of this great location. Cecil B. DeMille, one of the all-time greatest directors, filmed The Squaw Man in Hollywood in 1914. It was the west coast''s first full-length movie, a huge success, and the reason why the film industry never left California again.
Hollywood has since grown a lot, adding famous movie studios and becoming the center of the motion picture world. Less well known is a film editing company called Hollywood Digital Laboratory. When it first opened its doors in 1911, it was called Hollywood Film Laboratory. As Hollywood''s oldest operating film company, the small building is a different kind of Hollywood landmark showing how the town began years ago and how far it has come since then.
1 It’s a short article I found in Ivy website. It’s an article that introduces and talks about the famous Hollywood. It that me knows the history of Hollywood and how the movie industry built in to Hollywood. It’s hard to believe that Hollywood use to be a mud hut stood.

3. I am a big fan of Hollywood movie. Because my Mom is also a big fan of Hollywood movies. So start from my childhood, I remember I have seen thousands of Hollywood movies. Although many people say that Hollywood movie is like garbage, it’s full of violence and sex. But I consider if you watch it with a happy heart, you can learn at least one thing in every movie. I think beside violence and sex, you can find friendship, family, love, honor, justice, and peace in the movie. It’s a great pleasure to watch Hollywood movies. To me, it’s not just an entertainment or interest to me. It’s already become part of my life.

China is no doubt one the most remarkable places in the world today, particularly in terms of its architectural marvels. Its buildings, many of them epic in size and design, range from the ancient to the high-tech and modern. National Geographic Channel''s China Special Month is about the stories of the modern-day architectural projects in China that are producing amazing new buildings for the world to enjoy. Beijing Water Cube is one of the programs in this series, and it is very much about the modern as opposed to the ancient. The Beijing Water Cube is a building for the Beijing 2008 Olympics. The building, which will be the National Aquatics Center, is indeed in the shape of a cube, but its appearance is far from run-of-the-mill. It is made of a steel honeycomb-like frame covered in a unique skin that is modeled after soap bubbles. Simply put, the effect is that the Water Cube looks like an enormous cube-shaped bundle of bubbles. The bubbles are made of a plastic called ETFE, which is also used to protect spaceships from cosmic radiation. One of the advantages of ETFE is that it traps solar energy in the winter and reflects it in the summer, helping to control the building''s temperature. 3,500 bubbles had to be cut individually and sized in order to create the honeycomb-like structure. The bubbles are not identical or symmetrical, but seem to be organized randomly, with different shapes and sizes nestled together. Despite its random appearance, however, the soap-bubble structure used in the design has a geometry that''s perfect for a high-tech building. Soap bubbles actually always cling together in regular patterns, and the fragile-looking skin of the building''s bubbles—the plastic covering is only 1/5 of a millimeter thick!—is entirely safe. Tune in to Beijing Water Cube to get the full story on this incredible new structure.

RomeWhen in Rome, do as the Romans: Surround yourself with art and history as you eat delicious pasta dishes. Between meals, visit the Vatican, the home of the Catholic Church and a separate country within the city of Rome. Gaze up into the floating dome at the Pantheon, which was built in 27 B.C. On May 22, a classic movie adventurer returns. Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull is the fourth film in the series. Nearly 20 years have passed since Jones's last crusade. Joining him now is sidekick Mutt Williams, played by Shia Labeouf . The movie's plot is top secret. LaBeouf did not get a script until right before filming. But he didn't mind. "I would've paid them to be in it," LaBeouf told TFK.
