They came, nearly 40,000 people saw them, and they rocked.
Fans of Linkin Park began lining up early Friday morning for the best spots on the field and in the stands at Zhongshan Football Stadium (中山足球場), for what organizers touted as Taiwan's highest-selling foreign concert since Michael Jackson.
Despite light drizzle and a start that was delayed by 40 minutes, people arrived chanting "Linkin Park, Linkin Park," and when the California nu-metal band finally took to the stage, the 38,000 mostly young fans in attendance broke into a frenzy of cheers and shouts.
The chanting continued throughout the concert, with rhythm guitarist Mike Shinoda - who was clearly the crowd favorite - in the front, and singer Chester Bennington bouncing around the stage shouting vocals in a heavy-metal rasp. Linkin Park played electronica, rapcore and heavy metal numbers during their 100-minute show and had fans begging for more. Their stellar performance, combined with the fact that tickets sold out, will hopefully make Taipei a more enticing destination for other international acts.
The Weekender watched a performance in the first week that, though the singing was top notch and the acting quite good, suffered from many technical problems (the crew could be seen for much of the performance) that served to distract the audience. But these glitches were ironed out by the second week when technical staff were hidden, as they should be, and the actors were feeling more comfortable with their roles. Of particular note was the hip and live musical score. Tickets for the remaining performances are NT$750 and NT$1,500 and are available through NTCH ticketing or online at www.artsticket.com.tw.

(3) The reason I found this news is because I am such a big fan of Linkin Park~and I went to this graet concert. It was the greatest night I 've ever had! The whole concert was cool and
all the audiences were sining with the band .I was so so so high~~ It's the first concert in
my life, I saved money for this concert for a very long time! Finally my dream come true!
I got the chance to hear their music in concert! I love their music so much,I think it's cool
and it can relate to many nowaday's pepeole's feeling!!! I love Link Park~!!!!

Transformers Movie Review

Finally, the hype surrounding one of this summer’s big releases is justified. Transformers delivers the thrills we’ve been waiting for all year long and love him or hate him, director Michael Bay pulls off something films with bigger budgets and more stars (Pirates of the Caribbean 3, Shrek 3, Spider-Man 3) couldn’t accomplish. Transformers is the over-the-top slam-bam action dramedy that almost single-handedly redeems the 2007 summer blockbuster season.
Based on a line of Hasbro toys, Transformers puts the fun back into moviegoing, blending comedy with the robot action and adding a dash of romance along with eye candy for both sexes into a film that never takes itself seriously yet doesn’t poke fun at or offend those who grew up loving the toys. Smartly cast with awe-inspiring special effects, Bay and company have created more than just a movie. Catch it in a theater because on DVD it just won't be the same. Watching Transformers on the big screen is a real cinematic experience. The preview crowd I was with cheered the robot heroes and really interacted with the film (not to the degree it was annoying), totally caught up in what was unfolding on the screen. And strangely enough, the idea of robots battling each other with the future of mankind hanging in the balance almost seems plausible because of how ingeniously the make believe world of Autobots and Decepticons has been brought to life in Transformers.

3. I chosed this review to be my journal is because I've seen Transformers 3 times this year!!
And it immediately became my favoriate movie in my life. I've seen a lot of movie, like actions
comedys,romantics and dracalas. But Transformers it's a movie that mix action and romantic
and funny stuff all together. So the audiences can see all that want just in one movie, an it's
the reason why I like it so much. Although I've seen it 3 times, everytime I see it I still feel
excited and happy. I heared the Tranformers 2 will come out in 2009! There is no doubt that
it will be great just like the first one!!

I still remember the first day I bought Harry Potter when I was 10.It was out of curiosity, Because it was such a famus book in the U.K and the U.S.A. So I gave it a try.After I finished reading it. I become a big big fans of Harry Potter! I've raed every part of the series of Harry Potter! Now after 9 years' long-wating.The end of the book has finally came out!!I'm still reading ,but I believe that the end will be wonderful and great!

1. It's a short article I found in Snoopy's website. The artacle is talking about the writer of the snoopy is going to retier. Charles M.Shulz, he had written the comic for 50 years. This article was the last strip that he wrote.He tried to let snoopy to tell the readers that he would no longer write Peanuts.this article was written in 2000.

3.I choose this short article because I love snoopy very much!I've always like anything about snoopy!I consuder it's a very humanistic comic book.Every character has their own personality,and they alway keep real, sometime it can be a very touching and sweet comic too.I've bought bookes of Peanuts. (1950 to 1952)( 1953 to 1954 )(1955 to1956).It's part of my collection.I felt very happy and warm whenever I see Peanuts.I am really sad that the writer has no longer writer the Peanuts,but snoopy will always remand in my heart. To me, it's not just a comic or a cartoon.It's a real friend who play and encourage me during my childhood!!
